Miltonians celebrated the official dedication of the Governor’s Walk archway sign on Union Street Sept. 28.
The sign is part of a yearslong effort to bolster the historic Governor’s Walk in Milton and was designed by Milton residents Aurelio Grisanty and Walter Gagliano and made by Rogers Sign Co. The sign sits between the Milton Mercantile and Irish Eyes Pub & Restaurant in downtown Milton. The Milton Economic Development Committee spearheaded efforts to raise more than $14,000 in grants for this sign and other historical markers throughout town.
Editor’s note: An earlier version of this story misstated that Rogers Sign Co. designed the sign. It was designed by Milton residents Aurelio Grisanty and Walter Gagliano; Rogers Sign Co. made the sign.
