May 17, 2011

The Keller Williams office in Lewes participated in Keller Williams Realty International's Third Annual RED Day (Renew, Energize, Donate) May 12. RED Day is a Keller Williams Realty service initiative dedicated to improving local communities. Keller Williams offices across the U.S. and Canada closed for the day and the staff and associates donated their time to various charities and community causes.

Keller Williams Realty at the Beach in Lewes partnered with Cape Henlopen State Park where RED Shirts could be seen at various locations throughout the park painting gates, trimming limbs and even cutting down a tree or two. Bill Landon, the volunteer coordinator for the park, noted that in over 15 years, Keller Williams at the Beach has been the only real estate group to volunteer at Cape Henlopen State Park. Grotto Pizza donated pizzas for lunch.

The volunteers shown standing in the back are (l-r) Valerie Reilly, Tabatha Moore, John Shanaphy, Paul Sarnak, Dee Hake DeMolen, Cape Henlopen  Volunteer Coordinator Bill Landon, Ginny Hysock, and Sam Vasquez.
