Rehoboth-Dewey chamber hold Del Sol ribbon cutting

May 16, 2011

The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Del Sol May 11. Members of the Meet & Greet Committee were present to help celebrate their new location on Rehoboth Avenue.

Originally located in First Street Station, co-owners Greg Becker and Lewis Dawley moved Del Sol to 216A Rehoboth Avenue in the third ocean block near Dos Locos. Witnessing an increase in foot traffic and new customers since their move, Becker and Dawley believe the new location will provide greater visibility in the Rehoboth community.

Del Sol is the world’s largest retailer of color changing accessories and apparel. Founded in 1994 in Utah, it now has over 120 locations worldwide. Rehoboth has been home to a retail outlet since 2008. Tagged, “Fun In The Sun” for the entire family, Del Sol uses its special Spectrachrome Color-changing technology on all of their product.

Merchandise ranges from Tshirts, sunglasses, jewelry, hair clips, beach cover-ups, beach toys, to the number-one-selling nail polish in more than 20 different colors. Every product comes with the exclusive Del Sol “WOW” guarantee.

Del Sol is located at 216A Rehoboth Avenue, (near Dos Locos and across the street from the Fire Department.) Phone: 302-226-9090.
