Collena Hope opens Hope Realty in Lewes

A dream has come true for Collena Hope, as she recently opened her own brokerage, Hope Realty, at The Vineyards in Lewes.

Hope will assist buyers in purchasing homes, sellers in listing and selling homes as well as assistance in new construction, rentals/property management, mobile homes and more. 

“Most agents say this is a cut throat business, but I want to be different,” Mrs. Hope said. “I want to give people hope through unforeseen circumstances, like divorce, death of a family member, their first home, foreclosure and more. I have had a lot of situations where I was able to help clients move on with their lives, past the pain of what happened, and given them hope to live again. It’s just not about a check for me, but the joy of hope and to be there to see them at settlement.”

After 20 years as a licensed cosmologist, Mrs. Hope had a calling to go into the real estate business full time. After obtaining her license in 2007, Mrs. Hope worked for seven years at Keller Williams, where she was a top listing agent for about four of those years. She became a member of the agent leadership council, which consists of the top 10 percent of agents in the company.

She then transferred to Re/Max Eagle Realty, where she was again was a top listing and selling agent. In 2016, she was the recipient of an executive award from the corporate office of Re/Max for being one of the top agents in office for close transactions.

It was during this time, Mrs. Hope attended brokerage school and worked toward her ultimate goal of opening her own office.

Hope Realty is located at 12001 Old Vine Blvd., Suite 105, Lewes. A grand opening celebration will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, June 3.
