East End Lighthouse Tour offered by Cape Water Tours and Taxi
Cape Water Tours and Taxi is offering a new East End Lighthouse Tour this year. During the narrated tour, passengers will learn about the rich maritime history of the Delaware Breakwater East End Light. They will be able to walk around it and through it to explore and photograph it up close.
This famous beacon was placed permanently on the east end of the breakwater at Cape Henlopen in April 1885. Since then, the East End Lighthouse has stood firmly through everything the Atlantic Coast could throw at it. Today, it and the Harbor of Refuge Lighthouse are the treasures seen by visitors exploring the Southern Delaware coastal region.
