Chamber holds Richman Wealth Management ribbon cutting

The Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce welcomed Richman Wealth Management to the chamber with a ribbon cutting June 2.

Richman Wealth Management is now in downtown Rehoboth Beach. Owner Gary Richman has been a stockbroker since 1981. He holds the following registrations with LPL Financial: Series 7, General Securities Representative Examination; Series 24, General Securities Principal Examination; Series 63, Uniform Securities Agent State Law; Series 65, Uniform Investment Advisor Law Examination. Richman is also an appointed insurance agent for health, life, long-term care, fixed and variable annuities.

Services provided by Richman Wealth Management Inc. include: FDIC-insured brokered CDs, traditional and Roth IRAs, competitive life insurance rates, retirement planning, stocks, corporate bonds, fixed annuities, variable annuities, mutual funds, tax-free bonds and financial planning.

Richman received National Merit Scholarship Honorable Mention. He was the captain of the Gilman chess team and also was the former State of Maryland Class C Chess champion. He won the Sussex County, Delaware YMCA fitness challenge for his age group in 1999. Richman was also head coach for the Delaware YMCA age 10-13 Statewide Championship Soccer team with an undefeated season, having the honor of coaching his son, Kyler. Gary Richman currently lives in Rehoboth Beach, with his wife Irish, and 16-year-old twins, Emma and Leo.

Richman studied violin at the Peabody Conservatory weekend program. He is a professional singer. He wrote and performed, along with his singing troupe, a Sinatra review at the National Theater in Washington, D.C. He was a former performing partner for the USO and former member of both the Annapolis Symphony and the Maryland Youth Symphony Orchestra.

Other affiliations include former board of directors member for both the Alliance for the Mentally Ill of Metropolitan Baltimore and the JWT Walters Art Gallery. Richman currently serves as president of the Koinonia Foundation.
