International quilter Laurie Simpson will present a lecture and trunk show, 11 a.m., Saturday, July 22 at Cape Henlopen High School, 1250 Kings Highway, Lewes. Enjoy the Ocean Waves Quilt Guild’s 2017 show with hundreds of breathtaking quilts, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost to enter is $8 and the funds go to 17 different charities including children, veterans and health support communities. When you visit will see finely crafted works of art, experienced artisans ready to answer questions and demonstrations.
