St. Peter’s Episcopal Church Women had their 45th annual fine arts and crafts show July 2 on the streets of downtown Lewes. More than 130 artisans exhibited work in painting, drawing, printing, ceramics, fiber, wood, glass, jewelry, metal, photography and leather.
All proceeds go to the following organizations: Cape Henlopen Food Basket, a food pantry; Jusst Sooup, a grassroots food and assistance program; Meals on Wheels; Crisis House, an emergency shelter; Gull House, a daycare program for seniors; La Casita, an after-school homework program for young students; Primeros Pasos, an early-learning center for pre-school children; and The Way Home, a support program for men and women just out of prison.
Cochairwoman Julie Emery said vendors reported a great day with strong sales and contacts. An exact count of the proceeds was not available at press time.
