Alfred J. Bucci, loved the outdoors

Alfred J. Bucci went home peacefully to his Lord and Savior Friday, Sept. 29, 2017, following a hard-fought illness.

With a great appreciation of the outdoors, he is remembered for his love of fishing and gardening. Remarkably handy, he is remembered for his ability to build or create anything. Rooted deeply in his faith, he is remembered as an accomplished church cantor and choir member.

Fred leaves wife Erna Bucci; son Jeffrey Bucci; daughter Giancarla Churchman; son-in-law Bruce Churchman; grandchildren Joey, Jimmy, Jeffrey and Jessica Churchman; sister Grace Myers and family; and brother Nelson Bucci and family. He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Nikki (LaValva) Bucci; mother Elda Bucci; father Thomas Bucci and brother Henry Bucci.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, Oct. 4, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at the Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Palmer Township, Pa. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Fred Thursday, Oct. 5, at 10 a.m., at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in Easton, Pia. The interment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery in Palmer Township. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Life League, Covenant House or Delmarva Teen Challenge.
