Milton parade winds through town

The annual Milton Christmas Parade kicked off a week of holiday celebrations Dec. 6. Five high school bands competed. Cape Henlopen placed first followed by Sussex Tech, Sussex Central, Milford and Seaford. Houston Fire Company took first place in its category. Farm equipment in the parade remind the crowd that Milton is an agricultural area in Sussex County. There were 85 entries in the parade.
