After a treacherous weekend of snow and frigid temperatures, the Cape Region will finally break the cycle. Forecasters are calling for a high temperature of 37 degrees. However, winter weather is expected to pass through the area again tonight. The National Weather Service is expecting freezing rain to fall in colder areas, beginning about 5 p.m. Even where temperatures are above freezing, the NWS said rain could freeze on untreated surfaces.
