Byzantine Catholic Liturgy to be celebrated July 29 at St. Jude in Lewes

The Rev. Volodymyr Klanichka, pastor of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, will celebrate Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom at 4:30 p.m., the last Sunday of each month this summer, at St. Jude the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Lewes. Upcoming dates are July 29 and Aug. 26.

This liturgy is enjoyed by many Catholics of Eastern European backgrounds, and is specifically practiced by many visiting international students.

The Byzantine Rite is under the Pope and is in communion with the Roman Catholic Church. This Mass fulfills the Sunday obligation and all are welcome. St. Jude Roman Catholic Church is located at 152 Tulip Drive, Lewes. The church is visible from Route 1.
