The Edwards Christmas Village holiday display of more than 450 miniature houses with animations will be open to the public two weekends, from 5 to 9 p.m., Friday, Nov. 30, and Saturday, Dec. 1, and Friday and Saturday, Dec. 7 and 8; and from 1 to 5 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 2.
Back this year is a hay sleigh ride from the parking area at the intersection of Robinsonville Road and Plantation Road. There will be free refreshments hot dogs, coffee, Russian tea, cookies and hot cocoa.
All are welcome to celebrate the season with free admission. Nonperishable gifts will be accepted for Jusst Sooup ministries. Suggested items include food, toiletries, good warm clothing and blankets. New displays this year celebrate the reason for the season. There will be special concerts, a dance team, contests and a birthday party for Jesus.
