‘Assisted Living The Musical: The Home for the Holidays’ slated Nov. 30-Dec. 1
Milton Theatre will present “Assisted Living The Musical: The Home for the Holidays” at 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 30, and 2 and 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 1.
The all-new show is written and performed by the same people who wrote and performed “Assisted Living: The Musical.”
The new show? “It’s when the Ensure changes from pumpkin spice to peppermint mocha,” said Naomi Lipshitz-Yamamoto-Murphy,
Naomi is one the 18 characters played by two actors. They all live at Pelican Roost, the party school of retirement communities. They are the same characters many met in the original show, with all-new situations, songs and sketches.
Naomi exploits her casting couch in her new position as director of holiday activities. Nick Dent drives holiday shoppers crazy on his motorized Walmart shopping scooter. And audience members will never think of the Little Drummer Boy the same way again.
The two actors are also the show’s authors, Betsy Bennett and Rick Compton.
Tickets range from $25 to $35. For more information or to purchase tickets, go to www.MiltonTheatre.com or call 302-684-3038.
