Milton Garden Club receives honor

Sandy Winterbottom, left, past president of the Milton Garden club, receives a certificate from Rep. Steve Smyk. The certificate thanks the club for 20 years of service to the goal of beautifying Milton. The club was started in October 1998 by Jane Clark and had 20 members in the first year. It now has over 70 members and still has the same goal: beautifying Milton with flowers. The club also presents annual scholarships to students who plan to major in horticulture, agriculture, landscaping or other related science.
