Amanda Dixon and Rick Cooper plan April wedding

Bob and Kim Dixon of Rehoboth Beach are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Nicole Dixon, to Richard Henry Cooper Jr., son of Richard Cooper Sr. of Rehoboth Beach and Jackie and Christopher Funk of Lewes.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Sussex Technical High School and a 2007 graduate of Von Lee International School of Aesthetics, Baltimore, Md. She currently is a student at Sussex Technical High School Adult Education Program and works at Cedar Tree Medical Center in Millsboro.
The groom-elect is a 1999 graduate of Cape Henlopen High School and served from 1999 through 2004 in the United States Navy on the USS Ronald Reagan. He is employed by Southern Wine and Spirits.
An April 2012 wedding is planned.
