Veterinarian Dr. Erin Altares joins Savannah Animal Hospital

Savannah Animal Hospital has announced the addition of veterinarian Dr. Erin Altares.

A native of Harrisburg, Pa., Altares attended Elizabethtown College in Lancaster, Pa., and earned a bachelor of science degree in biology with a concentration in pre-veterinary medicine.

Altares then moved south to attend the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in Knoxville, Tenn. She has special interests in soft tissue surgery, animal behavior and fear-free medicine.

Altares is Fear Free-certified, and it is her goal to keep animals happy and free of fear or anxiety when they visit Savannah. Altares is looking forward to serving people through their pets here in the Delaware community.
