Blue skies, bright smiles at historic Nanticoke Indian Powwow

September 13, 2019

The 42nd annual Nanticoke Indian Powwow was blessed with clear skies Sept. 7-8. Keith Colston called the dances and provided a spoken history of the dances and culture. Drum groups Red Blanket and Stoney Creek kept the beat as more than 40 Native American tribes joined the local tribe to celebrate and share their heritage. Lead dancers Adrienne Harmon and Keith Anderson led the dances.
