Leona Jean Lewis, amazing woman

Leona Jean Lewis, 59, of Roxana passed away peacefully Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2019, in the care of Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.  She was born Aug. 17, 1960, in Salisbury, Md., daughter of the late Carl and Lucy (Ashley) Lewis.

Leona enjoyed shopping, eating and spending time with her family.  She was an amazing woman who persevered through many challenges.  Leona was well liked and so loved, and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Leona is survived by her spouse, Jan Harmon; her children: Lisa Lewis, Cedric Lewis and Jan Lewis; her grandchildren: Lucy Fogg-Lewis and Ella Lewis;  and her aunt, Harriet Rayne.

All services will be private.  Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
