Holiday event raises $3,700 for city’s volunteer fire company

The Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary hosted its 2019 Holiday Arts & Crafts Fundraiser Dec. 7. The weather was about as nice as it could be in early December, and with Rehoboth Beach Seashore Marathon participants milling about, the crowd was steady.

Auxiliary member Patti Burke said the event raised almost $3,700 for the fire company through vendor table fees, food sales, donations and a silent auction.

There were dozens of vendors, including these team-themed wreath makers.
