Crèche at Grotto Pizza, near Bandstand, for second year
The location and the characters in the nativity scene are the same, but this year the figurines are new, and two message boards have been added.

For the second straight year, Rehoboth’s controversial crèche has found a home in the outdoor patio of Grotto Pizza on Rehoboth Avenue. The location of the crèche hasn’t changed, but instead of last year’s decades-old figurines, this year features a brand-new scene. Also new this year are message boards – one with scripture from the Bible, the other calling out the city for hypocrisy.
Knights of Columbus Star of the Sea Council members installing the nativity scene declined to comment on whether or not they were going to follow through with a threatened lawsuit over the issue.

Over the weekend, the banners citing scripture and perceived hypocrisies were removed in favor of a simple sign saying who put the nativity scene up.
