Starting at 6 p.m., Thursday, March 5, and continuing to 6 p.m., Friday, March 6, over 200 nonprofits in Delaware are participating in Do More 24, a day of giving campaign that helps provide a little extra boost to many organizations in need.
Locally, many organizations, that many in our community support, are participating in this day of giving campaign, including, but not just limited to, the Lewes Public Library, Clear Space Theatre, the Rehoboth Beach Film Society, the Community Resource Center, and others.
Your contribution and support of any nonprofit during Do More 24 will help them with necessary operating costs and, given there is a matching contribution fund in place, will be supported by a secondary “boost” that will help them “do more” with your contribution.
The day of giving concept is tremendously successful in many other cities and regions throughout the country. Let’s make Delaware’s Day of Giving a big success.
