Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing Scholarships awarded

Beebe Healthcare recently announced the following students as recipients of the Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing Scholarships: Rebecca Arpie of Millsboro, Megan Kelly of Georgetown, Teryn Green of Dover, Kerry Carr of Delmar, and Adam Scott of Milton.

School of Nursing Scholarships in the amount of $1,000 are awarded to students annually upon recommendation from the Student Services Committee.

Monies for this scholarship fund were provided from the Francis Baylis Jones Loan, Ruth VanPelt Beebe Scholarship, Nasser Saberi Scholarship and Joanna Speicher Scholarship, along with other donations.

Francis Baylis Jones was director at the Beebe School of Nursing in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Ruth VanPelt Beebe was a 1942 School of Nursing graduate. Nasser Saberi was the brother of Dr. Mansour Saberi, a longtime Beebe doctor and School of Nursing supporter. Joanna Speicher was a student at the Beebe School of Nursing. Memorial donations directed to the school also contribute to the fund.
