Tyree Lakeith Lewis Jr. , full of life
Tyree Lakeith Lewis Jr. was born Saturday, Aug. 23, 2003, at Milford Memorial Hospital to Shanika Denise Lofland and Tyree Lakeith Lewis Sr. God called Tyree home Saturday, April 18, 2020.
Tyree was full of life. When he walked into the room his smile brightened up everyone. He loved his family. He enjoyed playing basketball with his friends; hanging out with his two favorite cousins Tazjer and Tizijer Daniels; acting silly; teaching his little brothers Asante’ and Elijah Lofland how to become big men and playing their games.
He would listen to music for hours and love spending time with his girlfriend of three years, Nakiya Jacobs.
Tyree attended Laurel School District where he gained a lot of sisters and brothers, especially Shyheim Drayton-Upshur, Keishaun Copes, Juvier White and Vic’tavian Hammond-Drayton. However, the two who stand out the most always over every weekend, day and night would be Jahmir Harmon and Damon Hardy. Tyree loved taking long walks and having deep conversations with his stepmom Dejja Ross or “D” as he called her, just about life and the future, he was such a momma’s boy. He and his mother had a bond like no other, even when she got on his last nerve.
He would always run to his grandma Eline Lofland when mom said no because he knew she would give in. (That’s grandma)
In addition to his parents, Tyree leaves to cherish his memories, his grandparents Elaine Lofland, Lollic Jackson, Raymain Jackson, and his beloved great-grandmother Lillie May Lewis; siblings Asunte Lofland Elyen Lofland, Kamavi Lewis, and Tyran Lewis; stepmom Deja Ross; godmom Maurisa Price; aunts Inez Daniels, Jennifer Daniels, Norma Neal, Kristen Polk, Ashley Clark, Bernice Lewis and Annett Daniels; uncles Keith Lofland, Lorenzo Lewis, Jeremy Taylor, Koymayne Green, Jerome Daniels, James Lewis II, Christpor Daniels, Charles Harrison and Shelton Morris.
Tyree had a host of loving cousins, friends and a huge support system throughout Laurel District. He will always be remembered and never forgotten.
