In Rehoboth: One mural complete, another evolving

May 14, 2020

THURSDAY MORNING, MAY 14, 2020 • YEAR OF COVID-19

This morning’s bright sunshine lit up two murals in downtown Rehoboth Beach.  One was completed in 2019 and fills a large panel on the side of City Hall. The other is evolving on two sides of a tall and dark back building in the Dogfish Head complex on Rehoboth Avenue.  The City Hall mural: colorful and conventional.  The Dogfish mural: wild, kaleidoscopic, psychedelic, unconventional.  Imagine that. Clearly somebody else already did.

Meanwhile up the street, Rise Up coffee was preparing outdoor seating and a walk-up ordering window in preparation for restricted reopening Friday.
