Pamela Castille awarded Beebe L.O.V.E. Letter

Beebe Healthcare recognized Pamela Castille, a telephone operator with Beebe guest relations, as the June 2020 recipient of the Living Our Values Every Day Letter Award.

Castille demonstrates many of the Beebe values, including achieving amazing accomplishments through exceptional teamwork, building trusting relationships with compassion and kindness, and listening carefully – having the courage to communicate honestly and effectively. She was recognized by a team member after working on the switchboard by herself when a resident called in and was experiencing a mental health event. The team member said Castille was able to calm the person down and convince him to call 911 for help. She also stayed on the line until help arrived.

“Pamela was the light at the end of the tunnel for this caller,” the team member said.

Awardees are announced in a surprise ceremony in which the committee visits the winner in his or her department and presents the award. Employees selected for the award receive a space in the parking garage for one month; a $100 gift card; 100 points toward Beebe L.O.V.E. Notes merchandise; 100th anniversary history book: “Two Men With a Dream: The Story of Beebe Healthcare”; a letter of congratulations and personal visit from members of the executive team; their photo added to the L.O.V.E. Letter wall plaque; a letter to the team member's director; and department recognition.
