Donated face masks help KSI prepare for reopening

July 11, 2020

KSI supporter Cyndee Sammons recently reached out to see if she could help KSI by providing face masks. “That’s exactly what we need as we prepare for reopening,” said Alicia Hollis, KSI’s director of community relations.

Following state and federal guidelines for safety, KSI staff has sanitized the entire Skill Development Center. They have rearranged production, vocational training and recreational areas to comply with guidelines for distancing, and are in the process of securing personal protective equipment.

KSI is a nonprofit agency providing vocational training, employment, supported employment, community integration, transportation, day habilitation, life enrichment and nutritional services to individuals with disabilities throughout Kent and Sussex counties.
