Eleanor L. Walt, loved dogs, lighthouses

Eleanor L. Walt, 76, of Milford, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones Sunday, Aug. 9, 2020.  

Ms. Walt was born in Providence, R.I., to the late Charles and Esther (Edget) Jacolucci. She loved dogs and lighthouses, as well as spending time with her family and grandkids.  She worked for Eagle Group in Clayton for 22 years as an account specialist before retiring in 2006.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles and Johnny.  

She is survived by her sons, Steven Walt and his companion Jennifer Weiss, and James Walt and his wife Stephanie; three grandchildren, Tia McCallum and her husband Ryan, Cristian Walt, and Nicole Almond and her husband Jordan; and six great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life gathering will be planned for a future date.
