Online watercolor class at Rehoboth Art League Aug. 24

The Rehoboth Art League will offer Exploring Watercolor with Gerilyn Gaskill: Summer Beach Fun from 10 a.m. to noon, Monday, Aug. 24, for beginner and intermediate painters on the Zoom video platform. This online class is a watercolor demonstration and paint-along.

Local artist Gaskill will demonstrate watercolor tips and techniques while painting the local flavor of Rehoboth Beach with a beach umbrella, buckets and shovels. Participants will learn complementary colors and values to make their paintings glow. While students work on their own watercolor paintings, Gaskill will assist with any questions. Finally, each participant will share their work for critique. The cost of the class is $25 per person.

All registered students will receive an invitation by email the day before the class with a link to join the class on Zoom. To use Zoom you just need an internet connected computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone with camera and microphone.
