Timothy Paul Foley, successful Realtor

August 26, 2020

Timothy Paul Foley, 74, of Lewes passed away peacefully Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020, at his home.  He was born Jan. 25, 1946, in West New York, N.J., son of the late Lester and Veronica Foley.

Tim was a graduate of both Monmouth College and Rutgers University.  He built a career in sales and marketing with the DuPont Company before dedicating 27 years to the real estate business in Lewes.  Tim's interests were many. He was an extensive world traveler and loved to regale friends and family with stories from his visits to places like Indonesia, Iran, Hong Kong and Peru. In his retirement, he enjoyed baking and cooking, and his pancakes were famous among his family and friends. Tim also enjoyed surf-fishing, reading and listening to music on his high-fidelity sound systems. Tim found great joy in following his daughters' interests and adventures, living vicariously through their travels. Above all, he cherished time spent with those he held most dear.  He was a loving and devoted father and friend who was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Tim is survived by his beloved daughters:  Hannah Foley and her husband Chris Moritz of Wilmington, Abaigeal Foley of Lewes and Wilmington, and Peggy Baldwin of Princeton, N.J.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a celebration of Tim's life will be held next spring.  Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Tim's memory to any charity of choice.
