December 17, 2020

Virginia A. Jobora, 73, of Lewes passed away Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, at Temple University Hospital - Jeanes Campus, in Philadelphia, Pa.  She was born Monday, March 10, 1947, in Gettysburg, Pa., daughter of the late William and Ann (Worrilow) Baker.

A graduate of Lewes High School, Mrs. Jobora spent a lifelong career as a cardiopulmonary technician at Beebe Healthcare, retiring in 2012 after 37 dedicated years. In Lewes, Mrs. Jobora enjoyed raising a beautiful family and spending time with them every moment she could, especially time spent with her four grandchildren; they were the apples of her eyes. Mr. Jobora was an avid reader with great curiosity. She enjoyed many genres and often lost herself in a good book.

She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Thomas; her three daughters: Jeannie Briley-Wallo and her husband Steve of Milton, Terri Strine and her husband Andy of Chadds Ford, Pa., and Loretta Ostroski and her husband Mark of Lewes; her four grandchildren: Briley, Finn, Sydney and Jackson; her sister, Sandy Bell and her husband Steve of Ladson, S.C.; and her dachshund, Sandi.
