Rob Morgan has proven dedication to Lewes

April 30, 2021

Councilman Rob Morgan, candidate for re-election to Lewes City Council, has earned our continuing support.

On recent issues before the council, Rob has been the sole voice of reason.  For example, Rob has made clear his opposition to the development of the Fourth Street Forest (land under city, not county, jurisdiction, and occasionally under water), and the skyrocketing police budget (cost of souped-up automobiles and additional personnel).  With his election and the election of others of like mind, we may be able to keep our small historic city from becoming the “down-town” center of a vast bedroom community.

If re-elected, Rob and Ted Becker will be the longest-serving council members and Rob the only lawyer - and he has years of courtroom experience.

We have found Rob to be congenial, an attentive listener, and dedicated to serving the city.

We will vote on May 8 to re-elect Rob Morgan to council.
