Cape Unified flag football competes in play day

The Cape Unified flag football team traveled to DE Turf Oct. 5 to participate in a five-team play day.
Cape first took on the Jaguars of Appoquinimink. The second game put the Vikings against Middletown, and they finished off their three-game scrimmage with Newark Charter.
Cape will open the regular season Tuesday, Oct. 12, at Seaford, then travel to Caesar Rodney Tuesday, Oct. 19.
