Kristen Slusser and Bill Messick to wed in September 2012

Mr. and Mrs. Chris Slusser Sr. of Bear are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristen Jayne, to Bill Messick of Millsboro.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Middletown High School and attended Wilmington University. She is a preschool teacher at the Sussex Family YMCA.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Messick of Millsboro. He is a graduate of Salisbury University and holds a master's degree from Wilmington University. He is a special education teacher with Cape Henlopen School District.
A September 2012 beach wedding is planned.
