True Blue Jazz presents Big Band Marathon

Five bands participated Oct. 16 in the six-hour True Blue Jazz Big Band Marathon at Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company Station 1 on Rehoboth Avenue: Cape Henlopen High School Jazz Band, Bill Dilks Hammond B3 Organ Trio, Columbia Jazz Orchestra, The Spartan Alumni Jazz Band, and Clifford Brown Jazz Festival Orchestra.
Morgan Hurlock returns home to play tenor saxophone as the only female member of The Spartan Alumni Jazz Band, one of the performers in the Oct. 16 True Blue Jazz Big Band Jazz Marathon at Rehoboth Beach Fire House. Hurlock, a 2016 Cape High graduate, was the first True Blue Jazz scholarship recipient as well as a Coastal Concerts scholarship winner.
