Charles ‘Charlie’ Clayton, cherished family
Charles “Charlie” Livingston Clayton entered into eternal rest Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021, in his home in Georgetown.
He was born March 2, 1930, in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late Stewart P. and Susie L. (Ruff) Clayton.
Charlie lived a long life where he cherished family, holidays, and travels in America and abroad. He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He leaves behind his children and grandchildren: Mark and Heather Clayton and his beloved grandchildren, Hadley and Caelan, Scott Clayton, and Melissa Clayton; his sister, Lucille Zablocky (husband Gerry) and their family; brother, Tom Clayton (wife Betty) and their family; as well as his dog, Jake.
Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Charlie’s honor to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675.
