Perry Scott Stein, marine technician

Perry Scott Stein, 62, of Lewes, passed away Thursday, Jan. 27, 2022. He was born Dec. 9, 1959, in Douglassville, Pa., and a graduate of Boyertown High School.

He was employed at Neapco Inc. of Pottstown, Pa., before moving to Delaware.  In 1997, he decided to follow his passion for boats. He and his girlfriend Pam Basile moved to Lewes. With his love for fishing and working on boats, he became a marine technician with Taylor Marine in Milford and lived out his passion for the past 20 years.

Perry was the son of the late Christopher and Eleanor Stein. He is survived by his girlfriend/lifetime partner of 26 years, Pam, who was with him until the end; his daughter, Victoria of Lewes; his stepdaughter, Angela of Milton; his granddaughter and fishing companion, Rebel, also of Milton; his brother, Christopher Robert Stein (Beverly) of Maryland; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind an extended family and many friends including his beloved Border Collie, Scout.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Final care for Mr. Stein has been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
