Singer-songwriter celebrated for no-holds-barred performances
March 28, 2022

Kat Parsons will bring her moving music to The Room at Cedar Grove in Lewes at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, March 31.

Based in Los Angeles, Parsons is no ordinary singer-songwriter. The child of two professional musicians, this pianist and guitarist is known for her dramatic, evocative live performances.

“Kat is a gifted artist, and we’re thrilled to bring her to coastal Delaware,” said local musician and chef Paul Cullen, who owns the dining and concert venue. “She a consummate performer with amazing stories to tell. I know our guests will love her.”

Parsons was born in Vienna, Austria. Her father was an opera singer, and her mother was a recording artist. Parsons’ album, “No Will Power,” was a runner-up for Album of the Year at the DIY Music Festival, and she was featured on the MTV program “Score.”

Parsons has toured or been on stage with such recording artists as Billy Corgan, Sarah Bareilles and Maria Muldaur.

The Room at Cedar Grove offers dinner and a show, and the performance will feature a multi-course dinner with complementary wines. Partial proceeds will benefit Paul Kares, the nonprofit that Cullen and Jim Rivette founded to support aspiring chefs and musicians.

Cost for the evening is $65. For tickets, go to paulcullen.rocks/events.
