Women's club delivers St. Patrick’s Day swag for seniors

The GFWC DSFWC Women's Club of Indian River recently delivered 158 handmade St. Patrick's Day cards for residents of Atlantic Shores Rehab and Health Center in Millsboro. The club also made 90 tissue paper flowers for the residents as favors or decorations and sent St. Patrick's Day-themed decorations for their celebration. The residents were thrilled to receive these items.

Club members gathered at Captain's Pizza in Millsboro to assemble the items. They also delivered a basket filled with candy treats for the staff members, along with a sign thanking them on behalf of GFWC DSFWC Women's Club of Indian River.

The DSFWC Women's Club of Indian River meets at 10 a.m., the second Monday of each month at Indian River Yacht Club on River Road in Millsboro.
