RAL beginner drawing class starts May 5

Drawing is the foundation upon which the artist bases all other creative elements. Students can learn how to draw and fulfill their creative potential with the Drawing for Beginners class series from 1 to 3 p.m., Thursdays, May 5 to 26, at the Rehoboth Art League.

This class will help novice sketchers develop confidence in their ability to draw what they see. Basic techniques and skills such as contour line, composition, perspective and shading will be taught as the class draws from life and photos. The cost is $120 for members and $155 for nonmembers.
