KSI inaugural 5K attracts runners, walkers and sponsors

KSI’s first 5K event, called Paths to Possibilities and held at Killens Pond May 14, was a great success.

Organized by Ray Parker’s team with TriSports Events, nearly 90 entrants took on the challenge of a 5K course, gave thanks that the rain stayed away, and enjoyed an assortment of breakfast snacks after the race.

Paths to Possibilities was made possible by many sponsors. Gold sponsors include: Aqua Tech Water Specialties LLC, Atlantic Concrete Co. Inc., Baltimore Aircoil Company, Chesapeake Utilities Corporation, Del-One Federal Credit Union, Delmarva RV Center, Dover Federal Credit Union, Perdue Farms and Wadkins Garage.
