Mobile home burns in Angola Beach Estates; investigation ongoing

The Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company responded at about 9:40 p.m., June 22, to a report of a mobile home fire on Talbot Drive in the Angola Beach Estates community. Arriving crews found a mobile home with flames throughout. The home’s resident was safely outside.
Rehoboth Beach crews were assisted on scene by the Lewes Fire Department, Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and Sussex County Emergency Medical Services. The fire was contained to the one mobile home. One firefighter suffered a minor medical emergency and was transported to a local hospital.
The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
The June 22 fire was contained to this one mobile home in Angola Beach Estates.
Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company crews were assisted June 22 at the Angola Beach Estates fire by the Lewes Fire Department, Indian River Fire Volunteer Company, and Sussex County Emergency Medical Services.
Damage to the mobile home was extensive, and the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
