Coastal Concerts presents pianist Amy Yang Oct. 22

Coastal Concerts will present rising star pianist Amy Yang in concert at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 22, at Bethel United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 4th and Market streets, Lewes.

A presentation of Lani Spahr’s Performance Insights will precede the show at 6:30 p.m.

In a uniquely structured format, Yang’s program will feature works by contemporary composers Brett Dean and Ted Babcock, and classical stars Robert Schumann, Fryderyk Chopin and Franz Schubert.

Yang balances an active career as soloist, chamber musician and pedagogue, as associate dean of piano studies and artistic initiatives at the Curtis Institute of Music.
