The Beacon Middle School football team gave Mariner all they could handle with a 37-0 shutout win Oct. 27 at Cape’s Legends Stadium. Beacon finishes the season at 4-2, while Mariner is 0-5 with one game remaining.
Beacon’s Ozmeer Daisey ran for two touchdowns. Max Beck, Hudson Senard and Andrew Messick each had a rushing touchdown. Beck threw for a touchdown to Jamar Beasley and also ran for a two-point conversion. Elijah Ghabour ran for a two-point conversion. Colton Donovan kicked an extra point. On defense, Beacon’s Daisey and Beasley made a tackle for a safety.
