The 14th Representative District Democratic Committee gathered at Iron Hill Brewery Nov. 9 to celebrate the election victories of Senator-elect Russ Huxtable of the 6th District, and other Democratic candidates who won their races at the state and local levels.
Committee Chair Jeff Balk thanked members of the group who worked on Democratic campaigns, and volunteered as greeters and challengers at polling places Nov. 8.
The 14th RD Democratic Committee represents Democrats who live in the communities surrounding Lewes, south to Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach, and west to Angola. The committee meets at Iron Hill Brewery at 5 p.m., the second Wednesday of every month, except December, for a Dutch treat dinner and 6 p.m. business meeting.
