True Blue Jazz donates $2K to Rehoboth fire company

True Blue Jazz, the independent, straight-ahead jazz festival, recently presented a $2,000 donation to the Rehoboth Beach Volunteer Fire Company.
Proceeds came from the festival’s Big Band Marathon held at the Rehoboth fire station in October.
The fire company hosts True Blue Jazz each October for the six-hour marathon featuring big bands from across the Mid-Atlantic. The Cape Henlopen High School Jazz Band opens the concert annually.
True Blue Jazz also awarded four $1,000 scholarships to graduating 2022 Cape seniors. To learn more, go to truebluejazz.org.
