SoDel Cares supports Southern Delaware Education Foundation

SoDel Cares, the philanthropic arm of SoDel Concepts, recently donated $2,000 to the Southern Delaware Education Foundation.

SDEF provides scholarships for workforce training, apprenticeships and certification to the unemployed and underemployed in Sussex County.

“The Southern Delaware Education Foundation helps provide a path out of poverty,” said Scott Kammerer, CEO of SoDel Concepts, a hospitality group, and founder of SoDel Cares. “Education is an invaluable tool for economic and personal improvement. We promote that belief within our organization and the community.”

Kammerer started SoDel Cares to honor the late Matt Haley, who founded SoDel Concepts and received an award for philanthropy from the James Beard Foundation in 2014.
