Coastal Georgetown AAUW to meet Jan. 19

The future of education in Delaware will be the focus of the January meeting for the Coastal Georgetown branch of the American Association of University Women. Madeleine Bayard, chair of both the state’s Early Childhood Council and the School Readiness Teams Advisory Council, will speak at 7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 19, via Zoom on the topic of Improving Education in Delaware.

Bayard, a Rodel Foundation senior vice president and head of its policy, programmatic, government affairs and communications initiatives, attended Wake Forest University and earned her master of public policy degree at Georgetown University.
