Songwriter, musician and producer Jordan Caiola isn’t one to miss an opportunity. When the COVID-19 pandemic halted the tour of his indie rock band, Mo Lowda & the Humble, the Philadelphia-based musician started a solo album project called “Only Real When Shared.”
Caiola’s solo tour CAI•OLA will hit The Room at Cedar Grove at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 9.
The concert is part of the venue’s singer-songwriter series to benefit Paul Kares, a nonprofit supporting young musicians and aspiring culinary professionals.
Caiola named his solo album after Christopher McCandless, the subject of the book and film, “Into the Wild,” who once said happiness is only real when shared.
Tickets are $25 each, and food and beverages are available for a separate fee.
