Shore Wellness Center to host open house Feb. 12

Local massage therapist Karyn Jennings opened Shore Wellness Center Jan. 3 in Tenley Court on Coastal Highway near Lewes. 

Jennings had shared an office with fellow practitioner Sue Greer at a temporary location on Savannah Road since 2017, but she has found a new home for her services. 

Jennings and her clinical team will host an open house from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 12, when visitors will have an opportunity to meet the specialists while enjoying light refreshments and participating in a raffle for different services. There will also be chair massages, auricular therapy services and Tibetan bowl demonstrations. 

“We are a collective of local holistic wellness practitioners who wish to promote health and healing to our community,” said Jennings. 

Jennings has been practicing massage therapy for 26 years in local spas, chiropractic offices and wellness centers after graduating from the Baltimore School of Massage in 1997. 

Jennings is again joined by Greer, who specializes in ministry and energy medicine. Other practitioners include Tracie Lynn Shimkus, who, like Jennings, is a licensed, certified massage therapist. Lin Simon is a hypnotherapist and wellness coach. Teal Harvey is a licensed acupuncturist and addictions counselor. Judy Rose Siebert exclusively practices the Trager Approach and teaches Trager classes. Sharon Mack works as a nutritionist, health coach and personal trainer.
